"Stylized" Steel Sculpture
Feeding from a flower. All forged steel, assembled by MIG welding, colored with heat from gold to deep blue. No colors are applied, all colors are accomplished by heating with a torch. The base is a forged leaf in 3/16" steel. Flower petals are 1/8" forged steel on a 3/8" steel stem. Clear coated to protect and preserve the colors and deter tarnish. Entire sculpture is "generic". It is a hummingbird over a flower and leaf, with no particular species or sub-species portrayed. Personally designed and hand crafted. The piece measures about 9"x9" and 6 1/2" high.
